Okay, so since I am legally required to put up a Privacy Policy, this is the one that my webhost recommends to me. I imagine that it’s a standard general data protection regulation (GDPR) compliant Privacy Policy like those you can find on most websites.

However, since I haven’t the faintest idea how to interpret legal jargon, I will tell you what I personally do with any e-mail addresses that I receive from readers of this website.

First of all, you are not required to give me your e-mail address in order to post comments. Comments may be made anonymously and as long as I consider the content of the comments appropriate and respectful, I will post your comments on my site. I use the services of a third party Comments provider called Disqus, you can find the link to their privacy policy further down this page.

I do ask for your e-mail address if you would like personal feedback or a personal reply from me (only logical), if you would like to subscribe to a newsletter or any other offer which I may offer in the future or if you will be ordering a psychic reading from me or any other service which I may offer in the future.

So what do I do with e-mail addresses from readers?

Well, firstly, I will NOT be storing your email addresses in my computer address book.

I WILL be keeping email addresses from my Beloved Subscribers in the online mail service provided by my Mail Manager, Mail Chimp. So I suppose it depends on how much you trust in Mail Chimp to be secure and hacker-free. I obviously trust in them enormously or I wouldn't be using them, I understand that they most certainly make their best efforts to try to ensure that they will never be hacked.

My Mail Manager also automatically manages newsletters, automatic replies, vacation responses and mail-outs for me, so I need never look at the individual email addresses of people who subscribe to my publications or offers or who ask for automatic responses from me.

I do, obviously, look at the email addresses of people to whom I respond personally, but once again, I will not store your addresses in my computer. Your address will remain securely in my webhost mail service, which is what I will be using to reply to you.

We personally don’t take note of any of the data that Disqus collects, in the sense that we don’t store it in our computer or anywhere else. But whatever data is collected by Disqus is there for everyone to see.

Unfortunately we are not lawyers and have no patience for legal jargon. We do not disclose information about email or newsletter subscribers, clients or customers to any third parties, other companies or individuals. We will NEVER sell, share or even show your email address or other data or information with ANYONE. In fact, we very rarely even look at our email lists. We don't store the email lists in our computer, so you can be sure that no one else will ever acquire your email or other data or information from us.

You will be free to unsubscribe at any time, there is an "Unsubscribe" button at the bottom of every newsletter that we send out.

If you sign up to receive our Live Your Dreams Today Newsletter (which includes all the newest and latest articles), special, exclusive news or offers and updates via this website, your details are held at the Mail Manager service of our choice. How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely (or as long as our Commenting services provider, Disqus, retains them, which I assume would be forever or at least as long as you hold an account at Disqus). 

How You Can Correct or Remove Information

If you have signed up to our newsletter or made a purchase from our site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase, modify or rectify any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

You may unsubscribe from our mailing list by using the "Unsubscribe" button located at the end of every newsletter that we send out, by using our Contact Me page or at our email listed below. Of course I wish that you will not unsubscribe, but in the case that you do anyway I hope you will use the unsubscribe button, because if you contact me then I will have to unsubscribe you myself, and I don't know how to do that. As mentioned earlier our Mail Manager is Mail Chimp, I don't keep a copy of my email list in my computer and I have no idea who is subscribed.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

If you order a product or service from this website, your order is processed by PayPal who is compliant with general data protection regulation (GDPR). We don’t have access to your credit/debit card details. Your address details are only requested when required to send you your order by post and are not used for any other reason or shared with any third party, company or individual.
